Dr. Henspetter is hands down the best dentist I've ever had. Absolutely no pain when numbing me for my fillings. He made me feel very comfortable, I actually enjoy going to the dentist now.

This is where I get my teeth checked out and let me tell ya, I don't mess around when it comes to people putting their fingers in my mouth. Not to mention operating x-ray machinery around my brain but the team at Dr. William's office operate one tight and comfortable ship. Friendly, gentle and super terrific would be an accurate description of their services. All this and my friend and fellow Union graduate Arielle works there.

As much as I dislike going to the dentist, the team at Cabrillo made me feel extremely comfortable. I had my first cavity filled and it was 100% painless thanks to Dr. Desik and Carlos. I was terrified for today's appointment but can honestly say it was a piece of cake. I also took my three year old for her first appointment here and they went above and beyond to make us feel at home. I am so happy to find a dental office on this side of the Bay and will absolutely be going back. Highly recommended!

I've been to a dozen or so dentists in my life, and after a few visits to Dr. Henspetter I can say he's the best one I've ever had. I just had a filling replaced, and I've never been through any procedure like that with absolutely zero pain until today, even the anesthetic shot. Plus, he's just plain cool. The hygienists and staff are equally nice. Thumbs up.

I went to Dr Henspetter for many years and could not be happier with a dentist. The team at Cabrillo Family Dental has been wonderful. I've recently relocated about 2 hours away, and am trying a new dentist. It's hard to say good bye, and if the new one doesn't work out, I'll make the trek back to Pacifica twice a year.

Dr. Henspetter and staff are awesome! This morning, I had a filling re-done, 2 chipped teeth bonded, and some other weird fillings ground down. Just typing that makes me feel oogie.Though I consider myself pretty good with pain, I have serious anxiety when it comes to the dentist. Last week I went to Cabrillo Family Dental Care for a cleaning and exam. Carlos did the initial exam - he was very friendly and knowledgeable. Then Dr. Henspetter came in and examined my teeth - it sounded like he was inspecting some exotic, endangered animal (Ooh, this is interesting.... that little guy needs some work... oh, what is this??). He was very calm and great at explaining what needed to be done. My dental hygienist (I can't think of her name, sorry - female, light brown/blonde hair) was really nice and quick, yet thorough (she played some Pearl Jam while she worked, yay). When I went to check out, super friendly Kathleen gave me a quote for the work that needed to be done and offered to set me up with a payment plan.I have been to about 5 dentists offices for my janky ass teeth in the past 10 years. None of them were nearly as focused on my comfort, or as patient, as the folks at Cabrillo Dental Care.When I returned this morning I was beyond freaked, but tried to play it cool. They used a lot of equipment that seems newfangled and efficient, and some that made me think of torture devices from SAW, but I didn't feel anything. Nothing. The shots didn't hurt at all, and trust me - I was ready to twitch and dramatically whine at the hint of discomfort. I think Dr. Henspetter and his crew are going to help rid me of my dentalphobia. I am a patient for life.

I am extremely impressed by the entire staff's professional attitude and the doctor's skills. I had to get 5 anesthesia shots and multiple stitches for my treatment and I can honestly say I didn't feel any pain at all. In fact, I couldn't even feel the needles! I highly recommend this clinic for everyone!

By far my best experience with any dentist, period. Very professional staff, crystal clear in all communications, right on top of all insurance questions, friendly in an informal, genuine way (not friendliness hyped on steroids). First dentist I've been to that didn't seem to be looking for their next boat payment in my mouth, if you know what I mean. I like the way Dr. Henspetter kinda mumbles quietly to himself while working ("There... that's got it!"). Here's the best I can say: I am blessed with good teeth which is lucky because I hate dentists and can only be cajoled into a visit once every few years. I will have no trouble coming back to these guys every six months.

My husband saw Dr. Kin for an exam and cleaning yesterday. He is happy with Dr. Kin along with the staff. Dr. Kin is pleasant, knowledgeable, and the staff is very nice. I believe he found his Dentist.

I went there for a cavity filling and they were very very very careful with my comfort and I did not feel any pain at all. They also finished the process very quickly and they were funny the whole time. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

My regular dentist is on vacation and of course this is when I chip a tooth. I called in the morning and they were able to see me the same day to fix it. Thank you, Dr. Jen Kin! If you want a dentist who will treat you like family...go to Cabrillo Family Dental. Dr. Henspetter and his team are the greatest!!! They make you feel welcome and at ease. Dr. Henspetter has a great sense of humor and you will not feel any pain or discomfort...he'll make sure of it. I recently had a crown put in and it looks and feels natural. They also recently went paperless so you'll get reminders online and they will process your insurance claims for you too.

I had the same dentist for.... No kidding..... 40 years!!! From the time I was 5 to 45.... Then he went and retired on me.... I tried s couple dentists after him and did not like their patient care at all.... I am severely closterphobic .... Which makes being a dentist for me hard....nothing can be around my mouth without me freaking out. From the first time I was here they were patient and very understanding of my situation . I have never had a bad experience here and everyone is lovely with wonderful attitudes..... I recommend them to anyone who asks me if I "know a good dentist". Dr. Henspetter is the best. I called on a Friday morning in desperate need of dental help. I cracked a molar the night before and was not able to make it to my regular dentist. The receptionist was extremely helpful and was able to me in as soon as possible that same day. The staff were patient and very friendly. Especially with my 2 year old son who I had to bring with me. Dr. Dizik was amazing. Very sweet, and very professional. I am terrified of dental work and she made me feel much more comfortable. She worked quickly but efficiently and I felt no pain when receiving my temporary crown. I would highly recommend this office to anyone!

I grew up in Pacifica and this was my family dentist office. Since moving out of town 18 years ago I have tried dentist closer but I never found one as good as the ones at Dr. Kirkhams office. Dr. Lieberman is as nice as they come. Plus there is always plenty of parking.

Came here to get a tooth pulled, was freaked out up until the dentist came in and assured me that I wouldn't feel a thing, and he was right, I felt nothing!!!..he made it SO comfortable for me!! He even gave me a phone with headphones attached so I could listen to music to help keep me calm. Will deff be coming back here for future dental work.

I was referred to Dr. Kirkham's office by fellow workmates. Dr. Liberman and the rest of the staff make you feel at ease and comfortable. You get a view from your dental chair and an IPOD loaded with something for everyone.

Dr. Henspetter is great. He gives the best shots, you can't feel a thing. I feel very comfortable when I'm there. And they give you ipods to listen to!

I have been going to this dentist since I was a kid and they do a great job! I've only been to one other dentist in my life, went there one time, hated it, walked out almost crying, and because of that, decided to come back to Cabrillo Family Dental and never change dentists again. I actually live in San Mateo now (which is why I tried to change before) but now I drive all the way to Pacifica for my dentist appointments because they do a great job. I see Dr. Henspetter, but the dentist that was there before him was great too. They just hire good dentists!

Experience was the best. Great implant work. Painless and quick. Very affordable and the supporting staff was great. You will not make a mistake by using this dentist.

I just got back from getting the most low-stress filling replacement of my life. Super thrilled to have found this place!A bit of background: for the past few years I've been going to another dentist that had a very fancy office, but also constantly seemed like they were trying to squeeze every last dollar from my mouth. Understandably, I'm a bit wary about dentists.Anyhow, I figured I would give Cabrillo Family Dentistry a shot since they were right down the street and had good reviews on Yelp.I went in for a cleaning and X-rays yesterday, and had a great, very low-stress experience. Hailey, my dental hygienist, was really friendly and struck up a great rapport. When I mentioned that it was chilly, she brought me a fleece blanky. Weird as this may sound, but this was the first time anyone has ever offered me a blanket at a dentist office before, and it made all the difference. Also I got to pick my flavor for the tooth polish, and I got one that tasted just like a Jolly Rancher.It turned out one of my old fillings had cracked and had some decay growing under it, so I was able to get another visit scheduled next day to get it fixed. Dr. Jen Kin was super clear and transparent about it, taking a photo of the tooth with a big camera to show me what was going on.That brings us to today. One would be hard-pressed to call any experience getting dental work done "incredible", but speaking as someone who has had a lot of cavities filled, this was as good as it gets.I don't know what Dr. Jen Kin did differently, but I didn't feel the anaesthetic needle AT ALL. Like, not even a prick. Instead of having to awkwardly hold my mouth open the entire procedure, they had me bite on a rubber wedge which kept my mouth open, so I didn't have to think about it. I wasn't being blinded by the overhead light since he was using some sort of headlamp. And plus, I felt incredibly cosy with a pillow and blanky.It was also over very quickly, and I can genuinely say I barely felt it. I was more calm and comfortable the whole time than I've been during any other dental procedure ever. I seriously recommend going here, especially for people who are normally scared of dentists.

I was looking for a new dentist in town and I know I found the perfect match. The office is very efficient, staff is warm and friendly and the first visit was great! The dentist I saw gave me so much information about my teeth and what needs to be done, I'm very confident that they are going to do great work for me.

This review is probably premature, but I feel compelled to write it because of Brooke (perhaps the office manager or receptionist) from the time I 1st called the office with my urgent issue, she was incredibly empathetic and knowledgeable. She knew Specific and EXACT info about a dental appliance Which so far as I can find through days of research, only Aspen Dental manufactures, and there isn't an Aspen office anywhere in California. The reviews made me call Cabrillo. Brooke's genuine empathy both on the phone and in person(and her confidence in the team's ability to resolve my issue quickly made me cancel an appt at a dentist 4 blocks from my apt in SF to travel there for my care. The office is Beautiful and clean. Flor and Carlos are the DA's I met, very knowledgeable and kind (I actually thought Carlos was a Dentist until I later viewed the pf) Pam, also very kind and professional! She had me approved for no interest financing in less than 10 minutes, including detailing the terms. Dr. Kim is a fantastic dentist and very nice and did a great job.

I decided to give Dr. Henspetter to work on my tooth after 2 Dentists and a Endodontic valuations, none of them give 100% positive result for the root canal I need cause my tooth was severe infected for 2 months. 2 of the doctors even suggest abstract the tooth because they think that root canal may not save it.After I consulted with Dr. Henspetter, he explain the situation I had and what may happen in case root canal doesn't help, but by his experience, he gave me more confidence to save the tooth before even try. he said he had work on the same cases as mine many times, they're all workout fine. I confidently took his advice to have the root canal done by him.this is a great experience from the start to end , every steps are very smooth and well planned including the doctor and all the staffs were involved, from the appointment, receptionist, valuations, root canal, temporary crown to the final crown, all without pain, fear, or uncomfortable.my tooth is saved and I'm happy to find Dr.Henspetter.he is very professional and casual and even make jokes during the procedure to reduce patient's attention and it works.all I can say is I'm glad that I found Dr.Henspetter. from now on, I am not afraid of what happened to my teeth, I know Dr. Henspetter can help.

Dr. Henspetter did an excellent job fixing and salvaging my broken tooth today, which I wasn't surprised of as he had done an excellent job with me before completing a couple of my dental implants. He has an excellent personality and sense of humor that keeps you at ease, explains his intentions clearly ahead and after every move he makes and administered excellent shots. He also has an excellent support staff as well. Pam was able to get me in the very next day after my call and Carlos one of his assistants during the procedure was fantastically in sync with Dr. H., along with the the initial assistant Flor, who prepped me giving me an X-ray and setting things up. All the staff are warm, friendly, professional and a joy to be around. Love my very efficient hygienist, Haley, and Dr. Jen Kin who saw me after a cleaning as well.

Another great appointment! I received a text reminding me of my kids' appointments this am to keep me on task and on time which I always appreciate. Both of my kids were seen promptly by two very professional hygienists who were great with them. Plus, they got goody bags with new toothbrushes, gloss and paste.

I've been going to Dr. Henspetter (and the dental hygienists) for a few years now and have always had excellent, professional service. Recently had some fillings replaced and sealed, along with a new crown that was well over due. Everything went as well as could be expected. I liked being able to view everything before and after via the digital imagery. The building is 1950's, but office and technology are state of the art.

I've experienced many dentists and hygienists at Cabrillo Family Dental, and it's been a wonderful experience over many years. The front-desk staff is always efficient, friendly, and skilled. My current hygienist, Julie Arnaudo, was the first one to convince me to take better care of my teeth and gums. After full-mouth periodontal surgery, you would have thought that I would get the message, but I didn't. Because of Julie's patience and kindness, I finally got it, and I just had the best and easiest cleaning in my life! I recommend this dental practice very highly.

My biggest issue with going to the dentist is with the shot for numbing. Dr. Henspetter is the best in minimizing the pain and worry of the needle. The rest of my difficult procedure went well. His dental assistant was awesome. Next time I won’t wait so long to go to the dentist.

Once again, Dr. Jen Kin took perfect care of me; I had to have a tooth extracted. He looked out for my well-being by taking the time to personally speak with my heart doctor about my medication to be sure it was safe to do the extraction. And, once again, he was very gentle when giving the shots to numb me up, and no pain during the extraction. And, he was very kind by letting me know what percentage he was at during the procedure (because I had asked him to, because it makes it easier for me to know how much longer it would go on). I am such a weenie, but Dr. Jen Kin and his staff made the entire visit wonderful and pain free. He is my Dentist for Life!

I have been a patient of Cabrillo Dental since I was in high school and was a patient for many years of The late Dr Polacek and also Kay who is no longer able to work, was my hygienist for decades. I am 66 now with very well taken care of teeth by this practice. The dental hygienists are thorough and friendly. I have been told to have my teeth cleaned 3 times a year due to a heavy plaque buildup and this has helped me to maintain a healthy cavity-free smile. Cabrillo Dental is a superior practice with only the best staff who have been there for the long-term which is very positive and if procedures are necessary they are painless, effective and cosmetically perfect.

There is a reason I've been going here 25+ years and continue to go even after moving. It may be a little out of the way, but it's well worth it considering the friendly staff and the excellent care. I have referred many friends, and will continue to do so. Keep up the excellent work!
